Dr. Vipul Patel is the Medical Director of the Global Robotics Institute at Florida Hospital.  Dr. Patel has personally performed the most robotic surgeries in the world and has currently performed over 8,000 robotic prostatectomies. Aside from vast surgical experience, he is also committed to sharing his expertise in training robotic urology surgeons around the world.  Since 2007, he and his team of premier specialists have been providing individualized, state-of-the-art patient care with superior results.

  • Specializes in the robotic approach to urinary reconstruction, bladder and kidney cancer
  • Received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida
